A close fought game with a lot of lead changes. Cam & Jesse scored all of our 4th quarter points as we outscored the Eagles 16 - 10 in the final quarter. Jesse led the Rapids with 21 points. Cam had 13, Josiah 11, Joe 8, & Dutch 4. A nice Rapids win, espicially with Paul out injured!!

A sharp shooting Indiana team that went 7 fot 11 from the 3 pt line (we were 8 of 33). Jesse had 27, Cam 12 & Josiah 10. We made a nice comeback in the 4th but fell just short.

In spite of traveling 3 hours and playing an OT game 4 hours earlier, the Rapids were up 19-16 at the end of the 1st. Then we ran out of gas as we gave up 32 points in the 2nd. Jesse finished with 23 points & Cam had 17.

Another OT win!. Down by 10 with 2:30 to go, the Rapids went into their full court press and erased the lead with Cam tying the game with 2 free throws with 10 seconds to play. We stayed in the press throught OT and scored 14 points in 4 minutes. Cam & Jesse had 24 pts each and Josiah added 14.

We started the game on a 11-0 run only to give back a 23 - 4 run. Down 12 at the start of the 4th we fought to within 1, but Syracuse was able to preserve the win with good foul shooting. Jesse led all scores with 21, Cam added 15, & Paul had 13 pts & 13 boards. A hard fought game by both teams.

It was cold outside, but it was smokin' in the West Windson Baptist Church gym. Double OT, old fashion barn burner in Binghamton. The Blaze were up by 6 after 1, Rochester was up by 3 after the 2nd and 3rd quarter and all tied after 4. Binghamton jumped out to an early lead in both OT periods but the Rapids fought back, led by Cameron Bechtold who led all scores with 29 points, 10 reb's, 7 assists, & 6 steals, Jesse Rebis added 26. Nate Rittenburg 27, Chad Griffith 25, & Josh Rittenburg 21 led the Blaze. A great game, with a great crowd & good sportsmanship by both teams. Cam also scored his 1000th point in the 2nd quarter, as did Nate Rittenburg in the 4th!! Awesome!!!

Syracuse came out firing and built a huge 32 - 11 1st quarter lead. We got within 10 points but could not overcome this early deficit. Jesse, Cam, Paul & Josiah all scored in double digits. Paul had a double/double, pulling down 13 boards.

The Rapids are 4-0 in games decides by 2 points or less. Holy Trinity could really shoot the 3, going 10 of 17 (59%) from behind the arc. They shot only 34% from inside the arc - go figure. With Dutch out, Joe steped up with a good rebounding effort, leading the Rapids with 13 boards and 3 blocks. Josiah had 9 boards, 11 assists, and 10 pts and Andre added 8 boards & 7 pts. Jesse had 20 points, Cameron shot 67% from the field scoring 19 points and made the game winning assist (5 assists & 4 steals) to Paul who made the game winning basket as time expired. Awesome win, Rapids are 18-5.

We got of to a fast start (Cam scoring 8 of his 11pts in the 1st) and were up by 8 at the end of the 1st quarter. But St Thomas slowly turned their 8 point deficit into an 8 point lead heading into the 4th. We pulled within 3 pts, thanks to the strong play of Josiah who scored 10 of his 17 pts in the 4th, but St Thomas hung on to win by 5. We won the rebounding battle as Paul had 14, Josiah & Dutch pulled down 10 each. We have to play a full 32 minutes to beat strong teams like this.

A tough, physical game mared by foul trouble as the Rapids committed 26 team fouls and 3 starters fouled out. Four players scored in double digits led by Jesse with 19 pts, 10 reb's, 3 steals, & 3 assists, Cam & Josiah had 16 each, and Paul added 10. Interesting stat: #24 for St Lawrence was 9 of 18 from the foul line (they took 42 foul shots!!) the Rapids were 9 of 18 as a team and we lost by 9.

The Rapids set an all time rebounding record as we pulled down a total of 74 boards (to 48 for FingerLakes). The Smith brothers led the way as Dutch & Joe had 18 apiece. Josiah had 10 boards & 10 pts, and Jesse, Andre, & Matt had 9 rebounds each. Jesse led all scores with 32 points. Rapids are 17-3. . _The JV lost their 6th straight as they got off to a slow start and fell behind 18-1 in the 1st quarter. They fought back to come within 2 points in the 3rd but the Eagles pulled away to win by 14. JV recodr is 4-6.

The Rapids won their 2nd consecutive overtime game in a row as we extended our record to 16-2. This was our 3rd OT win this year. Cameron led the way with 22 pts and a great steal and basket that put us up by 2 in regulation. The Smith brothers had a huge game on the boards combining for 31 rebounds, 12 pts, 5 steals, & 2 blocks. Jesse had 21 pts & 13 boards. Josiah added 15 points & 10 assists & 3 steals. Our steady foul shooting won the game as our last 9 points in OT were all made from the free throw line.

An ugly win (but a win's a win) as the Rapids shot a season low 27% from the field, scoring only 4 points in the 1st quarter and 2 (that's right, as in T-W-O) points in the 3rd. Loosing Cam to a rolled ankle at the start of the 2nd quarter didn't help. The Rebis brothers took control near the end of the game as Josiah (15 pts & 9 steals) hit a 3 to tie the game & send us to OT and then scored the 1st 3 points in OT for the Rapids. Jesse (who had 14 rebounds & 11 pts, tipped in the game winning basket with 6 seconds to play. Paul led the Rapids with 16 pts & 6 steals, Dutch grabbed 11 rebounds, & Joe had 8 boards & 2 blocks. Good bench support from Andre & Matt who both scored for the Rapids.

A tough game the whole way, only up by 6 going into the 4th. Cam led the Rapids with 21 pts (7 of 7 from the field!!) 3 assists & 3 steals. Paul had 16 pts, 7 boards, & 3 steals. Dutch grabbed 9 rebounds & had 4 pts. Josiah had 8 boards, 8 assists, & 4 steals.

Up by 3 heading into the 4th, our defense held Ruel to 0 pts in the 4th quarter as we outscored the Eagles 16 - 6 to secure the win. A great defensive effort by Josiah & Cam who added 15 pts 5 reb's & 4 steals. Jesse led all scores with 30 pts shooting 7 of 11 from the field & 5 of 8 from beyond the ars - outstanding!! Paul had 10 pts, 6 boards & 2 steals.

We blew a 6 point lead heading onto the 4th quarter and had to score the tying basket with under 10 seconds to play (by Cameron) to force OT. Paul scored 5 of his 16 pts in OT, going 5 for 6 from the foul line and Joe tiped in the winning basket (with what appeared to be devine assistance) as time expired. Jesse had 16 pts 8 boards & 3 assists, Cam had 12 pts & 5 Orebs, & Josiah added 7 pts, 13 boards, 4 assists & 3 steals. Joe had 6 boards & 2 blocks to go along with the game winning tip in. Nice Win!!

We got outrebounded at both ends of the floor by a 2 to 1 margin and a tough m2m defnesive by St Lawrence kept us off our game offensively. Jesse had 23 & Cam had 15.

The Rapids jumped out to an early lead and with contributions from everyone hung on for the win. Josiah had 12 rebounds and 5 pts, Cam & Jesse has 12 pts each, and Joe grabbed a whopping 18 rebounds. Luke B. had his 1st ever varsity pts knocking down a 3 ball banker from behind the arc.

The score was 30-30 at half time but we gave up 50 2nd half points and lost the rebounding battle at both ends of the court. A good wake up call for the previously undefeated Rapids. Cameron led the Rapids with 22 pts & 6 steals. Jesse added 17 & Josiah had 10. . .The JV got beat 69-20

In the championship game of the St Charles Christmas Tourney the Rapids were pitted against the St. Charles A team who knocked off St. Josephs the previous day. It was a close game until mid way through the 3rd quarter when Andre ignited a 11-0 Rapids run with a 3 point shot. Camerom played great defense getting 7 steals, 6 assists, and scoring 23 pts. Jesse added 27 pts and had 15 rebounds. The Rapids are 9-0!!

Joe S. made his return to the team after being out with an ankle injury and pulled down 10 rebounds. Dutch also helped the Rapids dominate the boards also grabbing 10 boards and addding 8 pts.

Cameron had 22 points and 7 steals and Jesse had a double double with 19 poins and 14 rebounds as everyone contributed to a solid win.
The JV erased a 7 point deficet going into the 4th quarter but lost a tough game 42-40. Luke Z and Luke B let the Rapids with 15 & 11 pts respectively.

Cameron led the Rapids with a season high 28 pts - shooting a sizzeling 69% from the field. Josiah was 3 for 5 from behind the arc and had 18 pts, Jesse had 20 & Paul added 12. In spite of all that, the game was not decided until the end. Nate R. kept the Blaze within reach by scoring 38 pts.
The JV lost their 1st game of the year. The JV Rapids got into foul trouble committing a whopping 24 team fouls. Going into the 4th quarter down 1, we got outscored 19-7 in the forth Q loosing 61-48. Luke B & Frank combined for 25 pts.

Josiah hit the clutch game winning basket with 6.7 seconds left on a bullet of an assist from Cameron off of a perfectly executed inbounds play. We jumped out to a big 1st quarter lead but Freedom Village fought back by controlling the boards and giving the ball to Ruel who had 33 pts for FV. Josiah, Paul & Cam also scored in double digits. A great win.
The JV won thriller in OT 40 - 38, led by Luke Z. 16 pts & Luke B (13 pts). Luke B. also scored 5 of our 6 OT pts. Luke & Luke did a great job controlling the boards in the 4th quarter & OT.

to get the Rapids season off to a quick start. Cameron and Paul added 12 & 10 points respectively, while Dutch & Joe
dominated the boards on both ends of the floor.
JV won 46 - 38 led by Paul S. (13 pts) and Luke Z. (12 pts).
