in LEAH field trips, group lessons, gym programs, music
programs, and other special activities.
4. Free access
to both the LEAH Parent Library and Student Library
materials.
5. Coverage
by liability insurance during LEAH sponsored activities.
6. Discount
in HSLDA membership.
7. Receipt
of a membership directory (not for solicitation or sharing
of contained information outside of our group).
8. Listing
in and receipt of members' business directory.
9. Automatic
membership in NY State LEAH.
10. Up-to-date
news on all that is going on concerning homeschooling
(legislation, etc.), through the monthly bulletin, special
mailings, or phone tree messages.
11. Support
from other homeschool families.
12. Answers
to your questions; solutions for your problems.
Non-member
Status:
1. Will
be required to pay a $3.00 fee at each monthly program
(after the first visit).
2. Will not
receive monthly bulletins or directories
3. May not
sign up for participation in special activities, field
trips, sports teams, group lessons, etc. organized by
LEAH committees for LEAH families.
4. Do not
have access to the Parent and Student LEAH library materials.
5. Cannot
participate in the HSLDA membership discount.
Membership
Fees:
- $42.00
per family (includes membership in NY State LEAH - if
we are your secondary
group,
this fee is $30.00)
New
members are required to either earn 10 points in the
first year or "buy-out" points at
$.50
each
- $27.00
per family for a half-year membership (January-June)
(if we are secondary group, this
fee
is $15.00) - 5 points needed for new half-year members
Please
note: If you are going to be a member of
our discount group with HSLDA, you may deduct $5.00
off any of the above fees. Please send us a copy of
your card as soon as you receive it
Criteria
for Membership:
We make
no apology for the fact that we are a distinctly Bible-believing,
born-again Christian group. Therefore, in order to join
our group you will be asked to provide us with:
1) a brief
testimony of your salvation experience
2) the name
and address of your Pastor so we can send him a recommendation
form for your family (If you are unable to do this,
please contact us for an alternative)
3) sign your
agreement to our statement of faith in its entirety
4) sign your
agreement to abide by our dress policy.
